Okay, so, I was messing around with these star bulbs the other day. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a ride. I wanted to get some cool lighting going on in my living room, you know, something different.
First off, I started looking for these bulbs. I remember seeing this ad saying “Choose From An Extensive Selection Of LED Light Bulbs At Great Prices” or something like that. Sounded good, so I went hunting. Turns out, there are a bunch of different types. I was like, “What the heck is a CA10 bulb?” Apparently, it’s some kind of candle-shaped thing with a bent tip. Who knew?

So, after I spent some time figuring out what these different bulbs were, I finally picked out the ones I wanted. I had to make sure I was getting the right size, though. I read somewhere that “T10 are 1/8” larger in diameter than T9.” Good to know, I guess. And the base! You gotta make sure the base is the same, or it won’t fit your lamp.
Then came the fun part – actually putting them in. I had two types: one with a B22 socket, which is like a push and twist thing, and another with an E27 socket, which you screw in. I felt like a real electrician, figuring out which was which. I replaced my old bulbs with these new star bulbs.
I switched on the light, and bam! It was so bright! I wasn’t expecting that. I had to get a dimmer switch to tone it down a bit. It was a bit of trial and error, but I got it working how I wanted.
- Finding the bulbs: It took a while to figure out the types and sizes.
- Choosing the right ones: I had to make sure they would fit my lamps.
- Installing them: It was like a mini DIY project.
- Adjusting the brightness: I needed a dimmer to get the right mood.
All in all, it was a bit of a process, but I’m happy with how it turned out. My living room has this cool, starry vibe now. It’s not every day you turn your living room into a mini galaxy, right? I think it was worth it, though.
Lessons Learned:
- There are a lot of different types of bulbs, so do your research!
- Make sure you get the right size and base for your lamps.
- Be prepared for them to be super bright, you might need a dimmer.
- It is a bit of a challenge, but totally worth to make it.
Anyways, that’s my little adventure with star bulbs. Hope you guys find it helpful if you’re thinking about doing something similar!
