Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my experience with the “Marvin Castleberry answers 2k23” thing. I was messing around in NBA 2K23, just trying to get through MyCAREER mode, you know how it is.
First, I stumbled upon this quest where I had to go to Erick’s Vinyl. I didn’t think much of it at first, just another task, right?

Then, I found myself talking to this guy, Marvin Castleberry. Turns out, he’s got some music trivia for me. Three questions. I thought, “Alright, let’s see what you got.”
- The questions started popping up. I had to pay attention, ’cause apparently getting them right means some sweet rewards like VC and XP. And who doesn’t want those?
- I remember one of the questions was about Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts.” Easy one, I nailed it.
- There was another one about some rock group, but I can’t recall the specifics now. My brain’s a bit fuzzy on that one.
After I answered all three, I was feeling pretty good. I mean, free rewards just for answering some trivia? Heck yeah.
It’s a Cole World
Oh, and I found out J. Cole is a big deal in this MyCAREER thing. It’s called “It’s a Cole World.” Kinda cool, I guess.
Also, I learned that a lot of the action in NBA 2K23 is actually off the court. Like, you’re not just playing games, you’re doing all this other stuff too, like this trivia thing.
Quick Tip for Pick and Roll
I figured out a neat trick for a quick pick and roll. You just press LB/L1 and hold the icon of the player closest to you. So, if you want LeBron to set a pick, and he’s the Small Forward, you press LB/L1 and hold down Y. Boom, he’s setting that pick.
Finally, I realized that getting these trivia questions right is actually worth it. You get those rewards, and it makes the whole MyCAREER experience a bit more interesting. Plus, it’s a nice break from all the on-court action. So yeah, that’s my story about the Marvin Castleberry trivia in NBA 2K23. Pretty neat, huh?
