Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole Dragonite Pokemon card thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started out just wanting to see what my old collection was worth, and it turned into a full-blown research project.
First off, I went straight to this online marketplace everyone’s talking about. I won’t name names, but let’s just say it’s the go-to place for trading card game enthusiasts. It’s pretty neat because you can sort cards in all sorts of ways, like by their popularity or how much they’re going for these days. I mainly focused on the price because, you know, that’s what I was interested in.

Then I started looking specifically at Dragonite cards. Man, there are a ton of them! This big orange dragon is apparently a pretty big deal. I saw some older cards, some newer ones, and everything in between. It was a lot to take in, honestly. I also noticed that the prices for some of the newer Dragonite cards, especially the “Alternate Arts” ones from the latest sets, have been going up like crazy. Guess there’s a lot of hype around those.
- Checked online marketplaces.
- Focused on price sorting.
- Explored a wide range of Dragonite cards.
- Noticed price increases for newer Dragonite cards.
Now, here’s where it got tricky. I learned that if you’re serious about selling these cards, you gotta get them graded. It’s like, this official process where they check the card’s condition and give it a score. It sounds like a hassle, but apparently, it makes a huge difference in the price. So, I started looking into that, too. I found out that the price can change a lot, like, one day it’s one price, and a week later, it’s totally different. And there are some super rare ones, like this one from 1999 that’s apparently worth a lot of money. I don’t think I have that one, but it’s cool to know.
I spent hours, maybe even days, reading about all the different Dragonite cards out there. There are at least 17 sets that have Dragonite in them! Can you believe it? I even started looking at these price tracker things to see how much the prices have changed over time. It’s like a whole different world, I’m telling you.
My Personal Dragonite Card Adventure
My average Dragonite card is worth, like, 30 bucks. But some of them have sold for way more, like over 200 dollars! And some are worth less than a dollar, so it really depends. I’m not sure if I’m gonna sell mine yet, but it’s been really interesting to learn about all this stuff. I might even start collecting more cards. Who knows?
Anyway, that’s my Dragonite story for now. It’s been a fun little project, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot. If you’re into Pokemon cards, or even if you’re just curious, I definitely recommend doing some digging. You might be surprised at what you find!
