Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another update on what I’ve been up to. Today, I messed around with the TFT PBE server and let me tell you, it was a wild ride.
First off, I hopped on and noticed it was time for the daily server maintenance thing. Usually, this is pretty boring, but today felt different. I launched the PBE client and saw that they just dropped the new Set 13, called “Into the Arcane” or something like that. I was pretty hyped because I heard there were a bunch of changes to augments and some new champions.

So, I jumped into a game to check it out. The first thing I noticed was the new 6-cost champions. There’s this Mel guy, Viktor, and even Warwick! Playing around with them was super fun. I tried a few different comps, but honestly, I was just mashing buttons to see what these new units could do. I definitely needed more time to figure them all out, but it’s cool that they’re mixing things up.
Getting into the Action
During the games, I experimented with a bunch of different team comps. It felt like total chaos, but in a good way. Trying to get the right synergies with these new champs and the reworked augments was a real brain teaser. One game, I went full-on with a comp focused around Mel, and man, when he gets going, he really dishes out the damage.
- Tried out different team comps.
- Experimented with new champions.
- Focused on learning the new mechanics.
The augments were also pretty wild. They changed up a bunch of them, and figuring out which ones were good was a whole other thing. I picked a few that seemed strong but honestly, it felt like a total gamble. I need to spend some more time reading through all the changes to really get a grip on it.
Final Thoughts
Overall, messing with the TFT PBE update was a blast. It’s clear that this new set is gonna shake things up a lot. There’s so much new stuff to learn and experiment with, and I’m really excited to dive deeper. The new champions are cool, the reworked augments add a ton of variety, and the whole “Into the Arcane” theme is pretty neat.
I’m definitely gonna spend more time on the PBE server to get a better feel for everything. It’s a lot to take in, but that’s what makes it fun. If you guys have any tips or cool comps you’ve discovered, let me know in the comments! Can’t wait to see how the meta develops and what crazy strategies people come up with.
Until next time, peace out!
