Okay, so, today I wanted to mess around with some tools for NBA 2K24. I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and I figured it was time to dig a little deeper and see what I could do with some external tools. So, I started my journey by searching for what tools are available for the game.
I found a bunch of different things, some of which were about using button combinations in the game itself to improve my skills, which is not what I wanted. I mean, sure, that stuff is helpful, but I wanted to actually tinker with the game files, maybe change some settings or stats.

Then, I came across another tool that was more about planning. Like, it helped you figure out what attributes you needed to target to get specific badges in the game. This was a little closer to what I was looking for, but still not quite there. I wanted something that could directly change things in the game, not just help me plan.
Finding the Right Tool
After a bit more digging, I finally found a tool that seemed to be exactly what I wanted. It was described as a way to edit various settings and data within the game. This was it! I downloaded the tool and started to get things set up. I had to find where my game data was stored on my computer, which took a bit of time since I have a bunch of drives and folders. But eventually, I found the right place and pointed the tool to it.
Experimenting with the Tool
Once I got everything connected, I started to play around with the tool. The first thing I did was make a backup of my game data, just in case something went wrong. Then, I started experimenting. I changed some player stats, just to see what would happen. I cranked up the ratings of a few players and made them into superstars. It was pretty cool to see how it affected the game. I loaded up a quick match and tested it out. It worked as I wanted, so far so good.
Final Thoughts
Using this tool was a lot of fun. I mean, I didn’t want to ruin the game by making everything too easy, but it was cool to see how I could change things around. I think I’ll keep playing around with it and see what other stuff I can do. I definitely recommend to anyone who’s into NBA 2K24 and wants to do more than just play the game as is. Just remember to back up your data before you start messing with anything, you don’t want to break your game.
I just wanted to share my experience, hope someone finds it interesting or helpful.
