Okay, so I’ve been messing around with MLB The Show 23 again lately, and I gotta say, the player ratings updates are pretty wild. I wanted to share my experience with you guys.
First off, I launched the game and went straight to the main menu. From there, I clicked on “Vaults” and then “Roster Vault.” I saw a bunch of custom rosters that other players made. It was cool to see all the different options, but I was more interested in checking out the official updates, but I didn’t spend time on those custom rosters.

Then I jumped into Diamond Dynasty mode. This is where you can build your ultimate dream team with legends and current stars. I spent some time messing around with different lineups and trying to find the best combinations. I played a few single-player and multiplayer games to earn some Stubs, that’s the in-game money. I also snagged some player packs and opened them up to see what I got. It is also a good way to get the latest player ratings.
I also saw this thing about the “Chase Pack 2” that had Fernando Tatis Jr. with a 99 overall rating. Apparently, you get one of those packs if you buy a 50-Pack Bundle. I didn’t really want to spend the money on that, so I just admired it from afar.

Mainly, I spent a bunch of time just exploring the player ratings. You can search for players, sort them by different stats, all that good stuff. It’s pretty cool to see how the players stack up against each other and how they’ve changed over time. There are just too many players and I don’t know how those ratings are calculated.
Overall, I had a blast messing around with the player ratings in MLB The Show 23. It’s always fun to see how the players are doing and to build your dream team. If you guys have any tips or tricks, let me know in the comments!
