Today, I spent quite some time playing around with Azelf in the game. I really wanted to figure out if this little guy is actually good or not, you know?
First, I took a look at its stats. Azelf’s got some pretty impressive attack stats, both its special attack and attack are base 125. And it’s fast, with a base speed of 115. Honestly, these numbers made me think it could be a real powerhouse.
Then, I started using Azelf as a lead in some battles. The idea was to hit hard and fast. Mostly, this worked out pretty well. It could take out a lot of opponents quickly. But sometimes, opponents would bring out counters, and then things got tricky. I had to switch to another Pokemon to deal with those threats first.
- I noticed Azelf is kind of fragile. It can’t take many hits, and that is so bad!
- Also, its moveset felt a bit limited. I tried using Fire Blast, but it wasn’t very reliable.
- However, Azelf is a beast! Its 270 attack and Future Sight made it a top-tier Psychic attacker.
I also did some research and found out that Azelf is strong against Fighting types. That makes sense because it’s a Psychic type, right?
My conclusion?
Azelf is a glass cannon. It can dish out tons of damage, but it can’t take much in return. It’s good for quick battles, but you need to have a backup plan if things go south. It’s not perfect, but it can be really effective if you use it right. I think it’s worth using, but you gotta be careful with it!
