Okay, so, let me tell you about this mess I got into with Madden 24. You know how sometimes a game just decides to mess with you? Well, that’s what happened to me. I was playing, minding my own business, when suddenly I noticed something was off during kickoffs.
I tried to kick the ball, you know, like you do, and the freaking kicking meter was blocked! I couldn’t see the meter because this kickoff type selector thing was right on top of it. I mean, how am I supposed to kick properly if I can’t even see what I’m doing? This made it almost impossible to kick normally and caused a bunch of other issues. It turned games into a real struggle, I lost a bunch of games because of this.
I swear, I tried everything. I moved my camera around, I squinted, I cursed a little (okay, maybe a lot), but nothing worked. The meter was just hidden, and I was basically kicking blind. Field goals, extra points, everything was a guessing game. It was like the game wanted me to fail, no joke.

At first, I thought, “Okay, maybe this will solve the problem.” But nope! The problem was still there, just hiding under a different name. I contacted EA, like a good gamer should, and complained about the issue. I told them how it was ruining games and making it super frustrating to play. I wasn’t the only one complaining, so I thought maybe they will take us seriously.
They released another update later, claiming to fix various bugs in different modes. But guess what? The kicking meter issue was still there, at least for me. It felt like they were just moving the problem around instead of actually fixing it. I tried their suggested workarounds, but it didn’t help much. It’s like putting a band-aid on a broken leg, you know?
I’m still dealing with this issue, and honestly, it’s making me want to pull my hair out. I just want to enjoy the game, but this bug keeps getting in the way.
