Today, I tried messing around with the training value in Madden Ultimate Team, you know, that MUT thing. I wanted to see what’s what with this training stuff and how to get more of it.
First off, I jumped into the game and started checking out my team. I’ve got a bunch of players that I’m not really using, just sitting there on the bench. I figured, why not try to quicksell them and see what happens? Turns out, that’s a pretty good way to get some training points. I started with the lower-rated players ’cause, let’s be real, I wasn’t using them anyway.

- 79 OVR: Got me like 69 Training
- 80 OVR: Bumped it up to 110 Training
- 81 OVR: That’s 170 Training
- 82 OVR: Hit 270 Training
And it just kept going up. The higher the overall rating, the more training points I got. It was kinda cool seeing those numbers go up.
I also messed around with some of the sets. You know, where you trade in a bunch of players for a better one? I threw in a few of my lower-rated guys, the ones I didn’t need, and boom, I got a better player in return. Plus, it freed up some space on my roster.
I also tried setting my lineup. You know, you can do it manually or just let the game do it for you. I prefer doing it myself ’cause I like having control over who plays where. You know what I’m sayin’? Each time, I can use my training points to upgrade my players, pretty cool, right?
So, after all that, I realized that training is pretty important in MUT. It’s like the money you use to buy stuff in the store and make your players better. And the easiest way to get more of it is to quicksell the players you’re not using. Also, you can upgrade your players’ abilities if you got enough training points.
It was a good day of figuring things out. I’m not saying I’m a MUT pro now, but I definitely understand the training thing a whole lot better. It’s all about making smart choices and knowing what your team needs. I spent my training points on upgrading my players’ abilities, especially the defenders and offensive linemen. I found that it gave me a huge edge in games.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with MUT training value. Hope you guys found it helpful or at least a bit entertaining. Until next time, keep grinding and have fun!
