Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with FIFA 23 lately, and let me tell you, the whole pack opening thing is a trip. I heard some rumors about this “sheen” on the packs that supposedly affects your luck. Sounds crazy, right? But I was desperate, so I started paying more attention to it. You wouldn’t believe the number of packs I’ve ripped open. My pack luck has been trash, seriously. The best I got was a Lewandowski and a Dani Alves, and that was during some anniversary thing. Not exactly what I was hoping for.
Then, the other day, I saw this Paolo Maldini Icon card. 94 rated, 186cm tall, playing CB. The guy’s a legend! I was drooling over his stats, thinking, “Man, I gotta get this card.” But his Prime Icon was going for like 2.1 million coins! Ain’t nobody got that kind of money, especially not me with my terrible pack luck.
But then, a miracle happened. I decided to grind out some of those 85×10 packs, just spamming them like crazy. And in one of the regular PIM packs, BAM! There he was, Paolo Maldini himself. I couldn’t believe it! I was literally jumping up and down, like a little kid on Christmas morning. All that grinding, all that frustration, it finally paid off.

And the funny thing is, I had also just finished the Ronaldinho SBC, and then I packed him too! It was like the game was rewarding me for my dedication or something. I don’t know if it was the “sheen” thing, or just pure luck, but I’m not complaining! After all this, I can confidently say that spamming those 85×10 packs is definitely worth it. You never know what you might get!
So yeah, that’s my story of how I finally got lucky in FIFA 23 and packed one of the best defenders in the game. It took a lot of packs, a lot of grinding, and maybe a little bit of superstition, but it was all worth it in the end. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go dominate some games with Maldini in my squad.
