Okay, so, the other day I was trying to mess around with my inventory. I wanted to grab some stuff, you know, the usual. But then, bam! I got hit with this message saying, “this inventory is not available at this time”. What the heck? I just stared at my screen for a good minute, totally confused.
So I tried again. And again. Same stupid message. I even closed the thing and opened it back up. Nope. Still there. “this inventory is not available at this time”. It was like the system was just messing with me. And then after it closed it said “Oh nooooooes! Sorry.” It’s not funny!

Troubleshooting Time
- First Try: I thought, maybe it’s just a little hiccup. Everyone has those, right? So I waited. Like, a good ten minutes. Went back, tried again. Still nothing.
- Second Try: Okay, maybe it’s my connection. I mean, sometimes my internet can be a bit wonky. So, I checked my connection, restarted the router, the whole nine yards. Still, that annoying “this inventory is not available at this time” message.
- Third try: I wanted to sell some items on the SCM, but servers are busy, and I can’t access the inventory, it showed me “Unavailable inventory”. I went back to my inventory, then I had a timed-out session, so Steam showed me the page as if I’m not logged in.
- Forth try: I log in again, and try to access my inventory once again, this time, it showed me “Incoming inventory”, which I guess it’s on its way to my location, maybe from transfers.
Finally, after all that messing around, I decided to just log out and log back in. And guess what? It worked! I could finally see my inventory. It was such a relief. I have no idea why that worked and nothing else did, but hey, I’m not complaining.
So, yeah, if you ever run into that “this inventory is not available at this time” message, don’t panic. It might just be a weird glitch. Try waiting, check your connection and try to log in again. If none of that works, try logging out and back in. It might just do the trick. And if not, well, maybe it’s just not meant to be at that moment. Computers, right?
