So, the other day, I was really hyped for this Fortnite event, right? It’s like the end of a chapter or something, pretty big deal. I’ve been marking the days, waiting for it to drop. This time, they’re calling it “Fortnite Remix The Prelude,” which sounds kinda cool, I guess.
First thing I did was jump into the game to see if there was a countdown. And yep, there it was, ticking away. It’s like the calm before the storm, you know? Waiting for the servers to go down so they can bring in the new update, v33.00. I heard that if I couldn’t catch the event live, there’s gonna be another showing later. That’s a relief, ’cause I didn’t wanna miss out on all the action.
I also checked out the ‘Compete’ tab in the main menu. That’s where they usually have all the details on tournaments and events. It’s a good spot to keep an eye on if you’re into the competitive scene, which, you know, I dabble in from time to time.
- Logged into Fortnite – Wanted to see that countdown timer with my own eyes.
- Checked the event time – Gotta make sure I’m there when it all kicks off.
- Heard about the encore – That’s my backup plan, just in case.
- Looked at the ‘Compete’ tab – For any extra info on the event.
Anyway, I’m just chilling now, waiting for the event to start. It’s gonna usher in this new “remixed OG season,” whatever that means. I’m just here for the ride, ready to see what Epic Games has cooked up this time. It’s always a spectacle, and I’m all for it. Hopefully, the servers are back online soon, and I can dive right into the new season after the event.
Waiting Game
Now, it’s just a waiting game. I’ve got my snacks ready, my setup is all good to go, and I’m just counting down the minutes. It’s exciting, but also, I’m kinda impatient. I just wanna see what this new season is all about. I’ve been playing Fortnite for a while now, and these events are always a highlight. It’s cool to be part of something that’s happening live, with players all over the world tuning in.
Alright, I think that’s all for now. I’ll probably be back after the event to share what went down. Fingers crossed it’s as epic as they’re making it out to be. Catch you on the flip side!
