Hey everyone, so I wanted to share a little adventure I had recently. It’s all about a place called Coldrock Diggings. Now, I’d heard some whispers about this spot – it’s a mine up in the northern Alik’r Desert. Sounded interesting enough, so I figured, why not check it out?
First thing I did was mark down the location. It’s a bit southeast of Tava’s Blessing, and the entrance is just north of Sep’s Spine wayshrine. Easy enough to find, right? I packed my gear and headed out.
Getting there was pretty straightforward. Once I hit Sep’s Spine, I just followed the path north, and boom – there it was, the entrance to Coldrock Diggings. I stepped inside, and let me tell you, it was dark and a bit spooky. But hey, that’s part of the adventure, isn’t it?
Exploring the Mine
- I started exploring the mine, and it was huge! Tunnels going every which way. I made sure to keep track of where I was going – wouldn’t want to get lost down there.
- Along the way, I stumbled upon some provisioning materials. Score! Always good to stock up on supplies. I grabbed what I could and kept moving.
- The rumors mentioned that shipwrights from Tava’s Blessing used this place to get grit-rock and holystone. I saw a bunch of wooden planks that needed to be sanded, and I assumed this is the exact location where they collected the holystone.
The Skyshard Hunt
Now, I’m a bit of a collector, especially when it comes to Skyshards. And guess what? There’s one hidden somewhere in Coldrock Diggings. So, of course, I had to find it. I searched high and low, checked every nook and cranny. And finally, after a good bit of searching, I found it! That feeling when you spot a Skyshard is just the best.
Boss Battle
But that’s not all. To really conquer Coldrock Diggings, there’s a boss you gotta take down. This guy’s name is Feremuzh. I prepped for a fight, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. Feremuzh put up a good fight, but in the end, I managed to defeat him. Victory!
So, that’s my adventure in Coldrock Diggings. It was a blast exploring, finding that Skyshard, and taking down the boss. If you’re ever in the Alik’r Desert, I definitely recommend checking it out. Just remember to bring a light!
