Alright, today I’m gonna talk about something I messed around with recently – the Headliner Superfan items in TFT. It’s a feature they brought back, kind of like the “Chosen” thing from before. Basically, you get these special Headliner units in the shop, and if you have enough Superfan units, they get souped-up items.
So, I started by checking out which champs are even considered Superfans. Turns out, there are a few, like Kennen, Lillia, and Gnar. These guys are key to making this whole thing work. I read somewhere that if you get enough of them, like 5, the Headliner’s item goes to the “Radiant” level. That sounded pretty cool, so I decided to give it a shot.

I jumped into a game and just started picking up any Superfan I saw. My goal was to get to that level 3, with 5 of these guys on my board. It took a few rounds, but I finally managed to get all five. I had a Kennen as my Headliner, and sure enough, his item transformed into a Radiant one. It was pretty powerful, I gotta say.
Then I started experimenting with different Headliners. I learned that each one gets a specific item upgrade. For example, if your headliner is someone like Karthus, his usual Archangel’s Staff will be replaced with an Adaptive Helm if you have enough Superfans. Or if you have Ziggs, his Archangel’s Staff becomes a Spear of Shojin. It’s a pretty neat system because it changes up your strategy depending on who your Headliner is.
- I found out that the Superfan trait has four units.
- I also noticed there was a change to Karthus’ Superfan item in the recent update.
- I realized that Superfans are a great way to boost your Headliner.
It’s not just about randomly grabbing Superfans, though. I figured out that it’s best to plan ahead. Like, if I’m going for a certain comp, I need to make sure I have the right Superfans to boost my chosen Headliner. It’s like a puzzle, trying to fit all the right pieces together.
One thing I learned the hard way is that you can’t just buy any Headliner and expect it to work with your Superfans. You gotta make sure you don’t already have a Headliner on your board, otherwise, a new one won’t show up in the shop. And sometimes, it’s better to just buy a Headliner to keep your board strong, even if it doesn’t fit your Superfan plan perfectly. It’s all about balance, you know?
Overall
Playing around with Superfans and Headliners has been a blast. It adds a whole new layer to the game, and it’s fun to see how these souped-up items can change the tide of battle. I’m still learning all the tricks, but I’m definitely gonna keep experimenting with different combinations. It’s like a whole new world of possibilities has opened up!
