I had heard that League of Legends planned to make some changes to the items, and I’ve been itching to try them out. So, this morning, I finally hopped on and dove into a few games to see what’s up.
First off, I noticed a bunch of new items in the shop. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through them, trying to figure out what each one does. There’s a lot to take in, and honestly, it felt a bit overwhelming at first. But hey, new stuff is always exciting, right?

After getting a basic idea of the new items, I started experimenting with different builds in my games. I tried out the Abyssal Mask. It’s supposed to be good for tanks, and yeah, I did feel a bit beefier when I had it. In one game, I built it on Malphite, and man, I was a rock. Unkillable.
I also messed around with some of the other new legendary items. There are so many options now, it’s crazy. Each one seems to have a pretty significant impact on your champion’s stats and abilities. In another game, I used some to buff my damage, and whoa, I was melting enemies left and right. It felt awesome.
- New Items: There are a bunch of them. Takes some time to learn what each does.
- Abyssal Mask: Makes you super tanky. I tried it on Malphite, and it was great.
- Legendary Items: Lots of variety, they really change how your champion plays.
- Experimenting: Trying out different item combinations is key. You gotta see what works best for you.
My Early Thoughts
It’s gonna take a while to get used to all these changes. I’m still figuring out the best builds and strategies. But I gotta say, it’s pretty fun experimenting with all this new stuff. It definitely shakes things up and makes the game feel fresh. I’m excited to keep playing and see how these item changes impact the overall meta.
Oh, and one more thing. I saw that they removed some items too. I didn’t really use them much anyway, so I’m not too bummed about it. Overall, these changes seem like a good thing. They add more depth and variety to the game. I’m looking forward to seeing how the community adapts and what new strategies emerge. I’ll keep you all updated as I play more and get a better feel for everything.
Also, I noticed something called “Split 3.” Apparently, they’re changing up the seasonal structure next year. Three seasons instead of two, each with its own theme. That sounds pretty cool, to be honest. And they mentioned something about objective banners and a revamped shop interface. Gotta check those out later. From what I gather, they also nerfed every legendary item and brought back Lethal Tempo with some tweaks. Oh, and Biscuit Delivery gives health now instead of mana. This is all a lot to take in, but it definitely makes things interesting.
