Alright, guys, let’s talk about this BAS-P loadout I’ve been messing with. So, I heard a lot of buzz about it being a pretty solid choice, especially with this “The Haunting” event going on. And you know me, I gotta try things out for myself.
First off, I jumped into a few games just to get a feel for the BAS-P in its raw form. I mean, it’s not bad, the movement’s pretty snappy, which is always a plus. But it wasn’t really hitting the way I wanted it to. It felt like it was missing something, you know?

So, I started tinkering. I slapped on a few attachments, trying different combos. The goal was to make this thing a beast at close to mid-range. I wanted something that could shred enemies up close but still hold its own when things got a little more spaced out.
- First try, I went all-in on recoil control. Figured I’d make it a laser beam. It worked okay, but it felt sluggish. Like, yeah, I could land my shots, but I was getting outgunned by faster weapons.
- Then, I swung the other way. Maxed out the mobility. It was fun, for sure. Zipping around, dodging bullets, the whole nine yards. But my accuracy went down the drain. Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn.
- Finally, I think I found the sweet spot. It’s a balance, see? A little bit of recoil control, a little bit of mobility. Enough to keep the gun steady when I’m firing, but not so much that it feels like I’m moving through molasses.
The loadout:
Here’s what I ended up with. It has been working pretty well:
- Underbarrel: I know some people don’t like to put something here, but I put a verticle foregrip here for reducing the recoil.
- Magazine: The default 20 round magazine is too small, so I put a 30 round mag to improve the endurance.
- Optic: I went with a red dot sight. The default iron sight is good, but I feel much more comfortable with a red dot.
- Barrel: I choose a 10.5″ Bruen Typhon here. It helps to control the recoil, while also helps with bullet velocity and damage range.
- Muzzle: A Singuard MKV is what I choose. I know it will reduce ADS speed, but the additional recoil smoothness and sound suppression is too good to be passed.
So, there you have it. My journey to crafting what I think is a pretty solid BAS-P loadout. Give it a shot, let me know what you think. And if you’ve got your own tweaks, share ’em in the comments. Always looking to improve!
