Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Pokemon Go thing again, and let me tell you, I’ve been diving deep into this whole “Fast TM” situation. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole, but I think I’ve got the hang of it now, and I wanted to share what I’ve been up to.
So, first off, I started by just playing the game like normal, catching Pokemon, doing raids, all that jazz. But then I got to thinking, how can I make my Pokemon even stronger? That’s when I remembered about these things called TMs, specifically Fast TMs.
I started digging around and found out that there are actually two types of these things: Fast TMs and Charged TMs. And then, to make it even more interesting, there are “Elite” versions of each. I was like, “Whoa, what’s the deal with these Elite ones?”
Turns out, the Elite TMs are pretty sweet because they let you pick which move you want to teach your Pokemon. Not only that but the Elite ones also let you learn moves that you could only get during special events before, like on Community Days. Pretty rad, right?
So, here’s what I did. I went into my Pokemon storage and started looking through my best fighters. I picked out a few that I thought could use some new moves. Once I found the Pokemon I wanted to work on, I tapped on it, then hit the little icon at the bottom right of my screen, and went into the “Items” menu.
From there, I scrolled through until I found my TMs. I decided to use an Elite Fast TM on my best Tyranitar. Then I just tap on the TM I want to use.
Then, the game showed me all the different Fast Attacks my Tyranitar could learn. I spent a good chunk of time looking at all the options, comparing stats, and trying to figure out which one would be the most devastating.
After some serious consideration, I picked the move I wanted, confirmed it, and boom! My Tyranitar had a brand new Fast Attack. It was a pretty cool feeling, like I was really customizing my Pokemon and making it my own.
I’ve been experimenting with different Pokemon and different moves, and it’s been a blast. It definitely adds a whole new layer to the game.
- Catch Pokemon
- Tap Pokemon
- Tap the icon at the bottom-right
- Select Items
- Locate TMs
- Tap Fast TM or Elite Fast TM
- Choose a new Fast Attack
It’s been a fun ride, and I’m still learning new stuff every day. If you’re into Pokemon Go, I definitely recommend checking out the whole TM thing. It’s a great way to power up your Pokemon and make them even more awesome!
