I remember it was a normal day. I just opened Pokemon Go as usual, and saw that there was an event going on. I was wondering if there was anything new, so I checked it out and found out about this “Fast TM” thing.
I was like, “What is this Fast TM?”. So I kept digging. Turns out this Fast TM can change a Pokemon’s move. I thought this is cool! I have a few Pokemon that I really want to change their moves. I started to look into how to get one of those Fast TMs. I played a few raids, did some quests, and finally got a few in my bag.

Then, I went to my Pokemon list and chose the one I wanted to change the move on. I picked my Machamp, for example, and I clicked on the items, and used the Fast TM. It asked me to confirm, and I did. Boom! My Machamp learned a new fast move! It used to have “Bullet Punch” but I really wanted “Counter” on my Machamp, so I used the Fast TM, and it worked!
I also learned that some Pokemon can only learn a few moves, so it is easy to get the move you want. I have tried on other Pokemon and it worked pretty well. However, some other Pokemon have more moves they can learn, so it is kind of random, you don’t know what move you will get next. It is like a gamble.
- Open the game and go to the item bag.
- Find the Fast TM and use it.
- Choose the Pokemon you want to change the move.
- Confirm and you are done!
My tips for using Fast TM
I think Fast TM is pretty useful if you have a Pokemon that you really like and you want to make it even better. Just make sure you know what moves your Pokemon can learn, so you don’t waste your Fast TM. Sometimes you might need to use a few to get the move you want, so be prepared.
Overall, I think Fast TM is a great addition to the game. It gives us more control over our Pokemon and makes the game more fun. Also, I realized that there is another thing called “Elite Fast TM”, which is even cooler because it allows you to pick a specific fast move, even including some special moves that are only available from certain events. That is something I am looking forward to trying in the future!
