Hey guys, it’s your old buddy here, back with another story from my little adventures. Today, I’m gonna talk about something that I’ve been messing around with lately – those Dreams & Nightmares Case knives in CS:GO. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.
So, first off, I got my hands on some of these cases. It was January 20th, 2022, when they first dropped, and I was like, “Alright, let’s see what the fuss is all about.” I remember thinking it was just another case, but boy, was I in for a surprise. There are 17 weapon finishes, but let’s be real, everyone’s after those shiny knives. There are like 30 different knives in there, and I was itching to get my hands on a few.
I started opening these cases like there was no tomorrow. I mean, who doesn’t love the thrill of possibly getting something super rare, right? I was gunning for a Butterfly Knife, especially the Gamma Doppler. But, like the saying goes, “easy come, easy go” – well, not in this case. Turns out, to even get close to a Butterfly Knife, especially the Gamma Doppler, you gotta open an average of 12,000 cases. Yeah, you heard that right, 12,000! It’s nuts!
Now, I didn’t actually open that many, but I opened enough to realize this was gonna be a long shot. But, I did manage to snag a few cool skins. I got a Vanilla, a Fade, and even a Slaughter. Not too shabby, huh? It wasn’t a Butterfly Knife, but hey, they still looked pretty sweet in-game.
What I really wanted
- A Butterfly Knife Gamma Doppler
- A lot of other shiny knives
After a while, I started thinking about trading. I mean, why not, right? You can get some good deals, and maybe, just maybe, I could trade my way up to that dream Butterfly Knife. So I dove into the trading scene, trying to learn the ropes, figuring out what’s worth what, and who’s willing to trade what.
I also spent some time just browsing through all the different skins you can get from these cases. There’s a whole bunch of them, each with its own rarity and price. It’s kinda cool to see all the different designs and colors. And it’s not just the knives; there are other weapon skins too, but let’s be honest, the knives are where it’s at.
So, that’s my story with the Dreams & Nightmares Case knives. It’s been a fun, sometimes frustrating, but always exciting journey. I’m still on the hunt for that Butterfly Knife, but who knows when I’ll get it. Until then, I’ll keep enjoying the game and maybe open a few more cases here and there.
