Okay, so a bunch of you guys have been asking me how to jump in Madden. I get it, sometimes it’s confusing. I’ve been there, done that. Let me tell you, it took me a while to get the hang of it, but now I’m here to share my experience with you all.
First off, I grabbed my controller and fired up the game. I remember the first time I tried to make my player jump, it was a total mess. I kept pressing all the buttons, but nothing was happening. My player just stood there like a statue. It was frustrating, to say the least. But I didn’t give up. I started experimenting with different buttons, trying to figure out the right combination.

My Initial Attempts
- Pressed every button on the controller – failed miserably.
- Read the in-game manual – still confused.
- Searched online for tutorials – found some, but they were too complicated.
After a few failed attempts, I finally figured it out. It turns out that on PS4, you just need to press the triangle button to make your player jump. That’s it! It’s so simple, yet so easy to miss. I felt so silly for not figuring it out sooner. I then spent time practicing and I jumped and jumped. I can clearly remember when I first successfully made a jump during a game, I was so excited! I jumped out of my chair in celebration. My team was finally able to make some impressive plays, and we ended up winning the game. It was a great feeling.
I was just hoping to help you guys get a better gaming experience! And I’m sure I could be of some assistance. So, keep practicing, and soon you’ll be jumping like a pro. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too!
Anyway, that’s my story of how I learned to jump in Madden. Hope you guys find it helpful!
