Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “augment rune dragonflight” and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to share what I’ve been up to, maybe someone else will find this useful.
First off, I heard about this new Dreambound Augment Rune that dropped in Patch 10.2. Apparently, it’s a permanent version of those stat-boosting things, which sounded pretty sweet. It was supposed to be available once you hit Renown 18 with the Dream Wardens, and it was supposed to give your stats a nice little bump with some kind of “empowering mist”. I mean, who doesn’t like a little extra power, right?
So, I started grinding reputation with these Dream Warden guys. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a chore. Lots of running around, doing quests, killing this, collecting that. You know the drill. But I kept at it, and finally, I got to Renown 18.
But then came the real kicker. This thing costs 100,000 gold! I nearly choked when I saw the price tag. I had heard some rumors about it being expensive, but this was way more than I expected. I guess the developers wanted to make it some kind of luxury item, maybe because there’s not much else to spend gold on in Dragonflight. Or maybe it’s because those WoW Token prices have been going through the roof. Who knows?
Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought the rune. After all that work, I wasn’t about to back down now. Once I got my hands on it, I started experimenting with different ways to use it. I learned that the key to making the most of these runes is to keep this buff called “Ebon Might” active as much as possible during fights.
I also dug around and found some other Draconic Augment Runes scattered around the Dragon Isles. Those give you a temporary boost to your Agility or Intellect, which is neat. I tried farming them for a while, but it’s not exactly the most exciting thing in the world.
Then, I stumbled upon a guide for this Augmentation Evoker build. I gave it a try in some raids and Mythic+ dungeons, and it felt pretty good. I was doing a decent amount of damage while also buffing up my teammates, which felt like a cool new way to play. It’s like you’re a damage dealer and a support all rolled into one.
Overall, it’s been an interesting experience. The Dreambound Augment Rune is definitely powerful, but that price tag is a tough pill to swallow. The Augmentation Evoker specialization is pretty fun, though. It’s a bit different from your typical damage-dealing classes, and it adds a nice twist to the game.
If you’re thinking about trying this stuff out, just be prepared to grind a bit and save up a lot of gold. And if you’re new to the game, this might actually be a good time to jump in. Dragonflight is pretty beginner-friendly, from what I’ve seen.
