Alright, so I wanted to get Eruption on my Typhlosion. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, let me tell you, it took a bit of doing, but I managed to pull it off, and I’m here to share how I did it.
First off, I started digging around to figure out the basics. I knew Typhlosion was the final form of Cyndaquil, so that was my starting point. I grabbed my trusty Cyndaquil, which I leveled up. It evolved into Quilava at level 14. Then I kept training it, battling everything in sight, and finally, it evolved into Typhlosion at level 36. So, I had my Typhlosion, but it still didn’t know Eruption.

I started to research how to get this move onto my Typhlosion. I found out that the only way to get Eruption on Typhlosion was by getting it from evolving a Quilava in PLA. I didn’t have that game, so I had to reach out to a friend of mine who did. I sent my Quilava over to my friend. Then my friend told me he leveled it up to a Typhlosion with Eruption and sent it back to me. So, now I had a Typhlosion with Eruption!
But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to see how effective this could be in battle. I teamed up my Typhlosion with a Cottonee and a Torkoal. I started the battle by having Cottonee use Tailwind to boost my team’s speed, and Torkoal used Explosion. After sending my Typhlosions out, I had them spam Eruption. It worked like a charm! I kept this strategy, healing up when needed, and it got me through some tough battles.
So, that’s how I got Eruption on my Typhlosion. It was a bit of a process, but totally worth it in the end.
