Alright, so, I was messing around with MLB The Show 24 today, and figured I’d share how I got the rosters all up to date. It’s pretty simple, really.
First off, I booted up the game and went straight to the main menu. You know, the screen with all the big options. From there, I clicked on “My MLB.”

- Then I went into “Roster Control.”
- In that menu, there’s this thing called “Live Rosters,” so I selected that.
And boom, that’s pretty much it. The game started pulling down the latest player data, making all the changes to the teams and players and such.
I remember when the postseason finished up, I hopped back on to get the final roster update. They tweaked a bunch of players, like 90 or something. I think I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through all the changes, seeing who got upgraded or downgraded.
Honestly, I think I get as much enjoyment out of managing the rosters as I do actually playing the games. It’s just cool to see how the players evolve over the season. It also makes my game more fun.
Anyways, that’s how I updated the rosters in MLB The Show 24. Easy peasy.
It is a wrap
If you guys are playing the game, give it a try. It keeps things fresh and makes it feel like you’re right there in the current MLB season. It is way more fun to me. And you can post your questions below. I will reply to them if I can. Also, I will keep posting more interesting stuff I found when playing games.
