Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with Seraphine in the mid lane and figure out some good runes for her. I jumped into a few games to test things out and see what felt best.
First, I started looking at what other people used. I found out that * had some useful information about it. It looked like most people were taking Summon Aery as their keystone rune. Sounded pretty standard, so I decided to give it a shot.

I loaded into a game and chose Summon Aery, along with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Gathering Storm in the first tree. Then I picked Font of Life and Revitalize in the secondary tree. It seemed like a solid mix of damage and utility.
The first game didn’t go so well. I ended up going against a Yasuo, and let me tell you, it was rough. He just countered me hard, and I felt like I couldn’t do much. But hey, it happens. I didn’t get discouraged though. I wanted to try something different. After that loss, I thought, “Maybe there’s a better rune out there for dealing with tough matchups.”
I did a bit more digging and stumbled upon Dark Harvest. The description mentioned it did a ton of explosive damage, which sounded perfect for Seraphine’s kit, especially since her Q does more damage to low-health enemies. It seemed like a good way to burst people down. I had to try it!
So, in the next game, I switched to Dark Harvest. I played against a Lissandra this time, and the game went much better. I could feel the extra damage from Dark Harvest, especially when I was able to catch her with my Q. It was way easier to secure kills and snowball the lane. I was really getting those procs. It felt great to see those low-health enemies melt away. I was finally able to carry the game.
After a few more games, I found that Dark Harvest was my favorite rune to use on her. It just felt so much more impactful in lane. Sure, Summon Aery is nice for the consistent poke and shield, but Dark Harvest’s burst potential is just too good to pass up. Plus, it’s way more fun to see those big damage numbers pop up. I ended up winning most of my games with Dark Harvest, and it just felt like the better choice overall.
- Summon Aery: Good for consistent poke.
- Manaflow Band: Helps with mana issues.
- Transcendence: Gives ability haste.
- Gathering Storm: More damage over time.
- Dark Harvest: My favorite, big burst damage.
So yeah, that’s what I found out today. Dark Harvest is the way to go if you want to have some fun and carry games with Seraphine mid. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
And remember, you can check out some builds on * if you’re curious, but don’t be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you. I definitely recommend trying Dark Harvest, though.
That’s all for now. Happy gaming, everyone!
