So, I’ve been having a bit of a tough time dealing with Gardevoir in Pokemon GO lately. It’s a tough cookie, being a Psychic and Fairy-type. But I wasn’t gonna let it get the better of me. I did some digging around to figure out what its weaknesses are, and guess what? It’s weak against Poison, Ghost, and Steel-type moves.
Armed with this knowledge, I started thinking about which Pokemon I could use to counter it. I wanted to find the best ones, not just any old Pokemon. I came across some names that seemed pretty promising, like Necrozma – Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings, Shadow Metagross, and even Mega Gengar. These guys seemed like heavy hitters.

First I tried the Mega Gengar. I gathered my best one and powered it up as much as I could. It was ready to take Gardevoir.
- I jumped into a raid battle with Gardevoir as the boss.
- My Mega Gengar used its Ghost-type moves, and boy, did they hit hard.
- Gardevoir struggled to keep up with the damage.
- Eventually, Gardevoir fainted, and I won the battle!
Next, I wanted to try out a Steel-type Pokemon. I chose Metagross because it seemed really strong. I prepared my Shadow Metagross for battle.
- I entered another raid battle, this time using Shadow Metagross.
- I unleashed powerful Steel-type moves on Gardevoir.
- The attacks were super effective, just like I hoped.
- Gardevoir couldn’t handle the damage, and I secured another victory!
My Findings
After these battles, I felt pretty good about my strategy. Using Pokemon with Poison, Ghost, or Steel-type moves really does a number on Gardevoir. It’s not so tough when you know its weaknesses and have the right Pokemon to exploit them. I even tried out some other Pokemon like Chandelure and Zacian in a few more raids, and they worked great too.
So, if you’re having trouble with Gardevoir, remember these tips. Get yourself some strong Poison, Ghost, or Steel-type Pokemon, and go show that Gardevoir who’s boss! It took some trial and error, but I finally figured out the best way to beat Gardevoir. You can do it too!
