Man, today was a doozy, let me tell you. I’ve been grinding away on this Pokemon GO thing, and today’s mission was all about catching this legendary beast, Reshiram. I’ve been hearing about it non-stop, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
So, first things first, I gathered my crew. We’re not talking about a massive army or anything, just a handful of us who are really into this game. We met up at the local park, the designated spot for this Reshiram raid.
Ready for Battle
I started reading up on this Reshiram. Apparently, it’s a Dragon and Fire-type, which, you know, sounds pretty intimidating. I found out it’s weak against Ground, Rock, and Dragon-type moves. Okay, noted.
- Get the Berries I made sure to stock up on berries. I’m talking Razz Berries, Golden Razz Berries, the whole shebang. These things are supposed to make catching legendaries way easier. And let me tell you, they do help, especially the Golden ones.
- Pick the Right Pokemon This was crucial. I went with my strongest Ground and Rock-types. Also threw in a couple of Dragon-types for good measure. I’m not gonna lie; I felt pretty good about my lineup. My Mega Rayquaza, Primal Groudon, Shadow Rayquaza were ready to rumble.
The Raid Begins
The raid started, and man, Reshiram is no joke. It’s big, it’s fiery, and it hits hard. We started throwing everything we had at it. I was dodging, throwing, dodging some more. It was intense!
There were a few close calls, let me tell you. Reshiram’s attacks were blasting through my team. But, we kept at it, chipping away at its health. Teamwork was key here, no doubt about it. We were calling out moves, keeping an eye on each other’s Pokemon, the whole nine yards.
Catching the Beast
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we took it down. Now came the hard part – actually catching it. I started with a Golden Razz Berry and a nice curveball throw. Boom! First try, got a “Great!” throw. But, it broke out. No biggie, I thought, I got this.
I kept at it, throwing more Golden Razz Berries, trying to land those excellent throws. It broke out a couple more times. My heart was racing, I’m not gonna lie. I was down to my last few Premier Balls.
Then, on my second to last ball, I threw another curveball with a Golden Razz Berry. I held my breath, and bam! I got it! The feeling was amazing, a mix of relief and pure excitement.
So yeah, that was my day. Caught myself a Reshiram. It was a tough battle, but totally worth it. Now, I’ve got this awesome legendary Pokemon, and a pretty cool story to go with it. Time to start prepping for the next big raid!
