Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this mobile game called Marvel Snap lately, and let me tell you, the artwork in this thing is insane. I especially got hooked on these variants by an artist who goes by Artgerm. I mean, the guy’s a legend. So I started digging around to see how many of these Artgerm variants are actually in the game.
First off, I had to figure out what cards even had these special Artgerm versions. Turns out, there are 25 of them in total! I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through all the different card variations in the game, just to admire the art, you know? It’s seriously impressive. Like, each card is a mini masterpiece. There are some famous ones, like Dazzler, Human Torch, Killmonger, and Magik.

Then came the hard part – actually getting my hands on these bad boys. I quickly learned that some of these variants are way harder to get than others. For example, some are called “ultimate exclusive,” which means you gotta cough up 5000 tokens. Other Artgerm variants are only available in these special bundles, but the ones I’m after you can get in the token shop. I mean, they are not always in the token shop, but you can find them there. Series 3 has a 25% chance. These characters come with an above-average strength.
And then there’s the whole deal with the regular shop. I started to notice these “Shop Takeover” events specifically for Artgerm variants. I also read about the best variants by Artgerm somewhere. The ones like The Infinaut, Destroyer, Giganto, Agatha Harkness, and Red Skull are the top five strongest cards in Marvel Snap. I think the collection is epic as usual.
So yeah, that’s been my journey into the world of Artgerm variants in Marvel Snap. It’s been a wild ride of hunting down these awesome pieces of art and trying to figure out the best way to add them to my collection. Still trying to get my hands on that Human Torch variant, though! What’s your favorite Artgerm variant in Snap?
