Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole mining thing in Dragonflight, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started out just swinging my pickaxe at anything that looked like it might have some ore in it. Seriously, I was hitting every rock in sight, hoping for the best.
I quickly realized I needed to get a bit smarter about this if I wanted to really rake in the good stuff. I did some digging around, no pun intended, and figured out that there’s this whole specialization thing. You know, like choosing a major in college, but for mining.

So, I started with just trying out everything, I mean, I mine every kind of rock, serevite, draconium, you name it. Once I got past level 50, things started to change, my friend. You see, those plain old rocks? They stop giving you skill points after a while. It’s like, “Thanks, but we’re done here.”
-
Hit everything at first: When I was a newbie, I mined everything. Every. Single. Rock. I just wanted to get my skill up, you know?
-
Focus on the good stuff: After level 50, I got picky. I started looking for those special rocks, the ones with names like “Hardened” or “Titan-Touched.” Those are the money-makers, the ones that keep your skill growing.
-
Ignoring the boring stuff: After I got the hang of it, I started ignoring the normal rocks. They just weren’t worth my time anymore.
Mining Process Specialization
After all that trial and error, I figured I’d focus on the “Mining Process” specialization. It seemed like the best way to get the most out of each node, and boy, was I right.
This specialization is all about getting more resources, getting them faster, and just being more efficient overall. I started to actually understand what I was doing, not just swinging my pickaxe like a madman.
So, yeah, that’s my mining story in Dragonflight. It wasn’t always pretty, but I learned a lot, and now I’m rolling in ore. If you’re starting out, just remember: mine everything at first, then get smart and specialize. You’ll be a mining master in no time!
