Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another adventure in the world of Pokemon Go! Today, I’m gonna walk you through my quest to catch one of the most elusive little dragons out there – Gible. Yeah, you heard that right, we’re hunting for that adorable, land-shark Pokemon that eventually evolves into the mighty Garchomp.
Getting Started
First off, I knew this wasn’t gonna be a walk in the park. Gible is a rare sight, and I’d heard rumors that the only way to currently get one is to find the rare stop task “Make 3 excellent throws in a row” or to beat a Rocket Grunt that uses one on their first slot. But, I was determined. I mean, who wouldn’t want a dragon and ground type Pokemon in their collection? It’s like having a little dinosaur that can also burrow through the earth!

The Hunt Begins
I started my hunt by hitting up all the local PokeStops in my neighborhood. I spun every stop I could find, hoping to stumble upon that golden task. It took a while, and a whole lot of walking, but I finally found it! The “Make 3 excellent throws in a row” task was mine. I felt like I’d won the lottery.
Now, I’m not gonna lie, making three excellent throws in a row isn’t easy. It took me a few tries, and maybe a few more than a few, but I kept at it. I practiced my throws, focused on the Pokemon’s movements, and tried to time it just right. And then, it happened. I landed the third excellent throw in a row, and there it was – a Gible appeared right before my eyes!
The Alternative Route
But that’s not the only way to snag a Gible. I also spent some time battling Team Rocket Grunts. It’s a bit of a gamble, but if you’re lucky, you might find a Grunt that’s using a Gible. I battled Grunt after Grunt, and eventually, I faced one with a Gible as their first Pokemon. After a tough battle, I defeated the Grunt and got a chance to catch their Gible. It was tough, but totally worth it.
Weather and Location
I also noticed that Gible seems to love sunny weather. I mean, it’s a dragon that likes to hang out on the ground, so it makes sense, right? So, I made sure to play during clear, sunny days to increase my chances. And from what I’ve gathered, Gible tends to spawn in specific locations – places like parks, large open fields, and sometimes even near construction sites. It’s like they enjoy places where they can dig around or something.
The Victory
- Kept an eye out for the right weather: Checked the weather, Sunny or clear is the best.
- Hit up those PokeStops: The best way is to spin every PokeStop in sight until I found that one special task.
- Mastered the art of excellent throws: It’s not easy, but practice makes perfect. I got the hang of it after a while.
- Battled those Rocket Grunts: Took down a bunch of Team Rocket Grunts until I found one with a Gible.
- Checked out Gible’s favorite hangouts: I found that Gible likes to spawn in certain locations, so I made sure to visit those spots.
Finally, after all that effort, I caught my Gible! It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in Pokemon Go. Now, I have my very own little land-shark Pokemon, and I can’t wait to train it up and eventually evolve it into a Garchomp.
So, there you have it, folks. That’s my Gible-catching adventure. If you’re also on the hunt for this rare Pokemon, don’t give up! Keep spinning those stops, practice those throws, battle those Grunts, and keep an eye on the weather and locations. You’ll get your Gible eventually. Happy hunting, trainers!
