Hey, folks! Let me tell you about my experience with the Madden 24 10-hour trial. So, I heard that this trial was going to be available, and I was pretty pumped to try it out before the official release date.
First, I did some digging and found out that the trial would start on August 15, 2023, for EA Play members. I am a member, so I marked that date on my calendar. I also found out that the full game, Madden 24, would be officially released on August 18th, which is not too far off.

When August 15th finally rolled around, I was ready. I logged into my EA Play account and saw that the Madden 24 trial was available. Sweet! I started the download. According to some info I found on the Xbox store, the trial would kick off at 17:00 PDT, 20:00 EST, and 01:00 BST on September 14th. Since I’m on the East Coast, that meant 8 PM for me.
Once the download finished, I jumped right in. The first thing I noticed was the time limit. I had 10 hours of actual playtime to explore the game. I made sure to close the game completely whenever I finished playing so I wouldn’t waste any of that precious trial time.
Here’s a quick rundown of my experience:
- Getting Started: I logged into my EA Play account and found the Madden 24 trial available for download.
- Timing: The trial started at 8 PM EST for me, as expected.
- Gameplay: I played through several game modes and really got a feel for the new features. I was checking out the BOOM Tech and some of the updated gameplay mechanics.
- Time Management: I was super careful to close the game entirely after each session to make the most of my 10 hours.
I played for a few hours each day, making sure to not run out of time before I could test everything I wanted. And let me tell you, it was worth it. It was great to get a sneak peek of the game before it officially dropped.
One thing to keep in mind is that once your trial time is up, that’s it. You can’t add more time or restart it. So, I made sure I used my 10 hours wisely.
In the end, I really enjoyed the Madden 24 trial. It gave me a good idea of what to expect from the full game, and I was glad I took the time to try it out. If you’re an EA Play member, I definitely recommend giving it a shot!
Now that I’ve had a taste, I’m even more excited for the full release on August 18th. It’s going to be a blast!
