Well, you see, them Abyss Mages, they be all over the place in Teyvat. If you been playin’ Genshin Impact, you know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout. Them little tricky monsters, real pesky too. You can find ‘em in different spots, but ain’t no one place. Gotta keep searchin’, movin’ ‘round. They love hidin’ near water, and they always in groups with them other Abyss fellas. Don’t go lookin’ for ‘em on some easy stroll, no sir, they gonna make you fight for it.
Now, lemme tell ya, these Abyss Mages, they come in different flavors, if you know what I mean. There’s them Cryo ones, Freezin’ stuff everywhere. If you ain’t careful, you’ll get stuck cold like a popsicle. Then there’s them Hydro Mages, always sprayin’ water, wetting everything. That Pyro one, oh boy, you don’t wanna mess with them fireballs, burn your behind faster than a summer bonfire! There’s even some Electro fellas, zap you real good if you ain’t keepin’ your distance.
Where to find Abyss Mages?
Now, let me give ya the rundown on where you gonna bump into these troublemakers. You can find ‘em in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. They like the ruins, them old places, and some wetland areas too. If you head over to places like Stormterror’s Lair or the Spiral Abyss, I tell ya, you gonna see ‘em there lurkin’ about. They also love them Dragonspine snows, but don’t go there without somethin’ warm or you might freeze your toes off!
- Stormterror’s Lair: Wander ‘round them broken ruins, and you’ll spot ‘em sneakin’ ‘bout.
- Spiral Abyss: If you’re brave enough, you’ll see a whole bunch of ‘em there. But be ready for a fight!
- Dragonspine: Watch out for them Cryo mages here. The cold ain’t gonna be your only problem.
- Liyue Ruins: Them old broken buildings is where they like to gather, always waitin’ to ambush ya.
How to deal with ‘em?
Fightin’ ‘em ain’t easy, no way. You gotta know their tricks. The Cryo ones, just bring yourself a Pyro character, and they melt faster than butter on a hot stove. The Hydro ones? Well, Electro works wonders on them, makes ‘em sizzle like bacon in a pan. As for them Pyro ones, better take a Hydro or Cryo character to cool ‘em off. And when it comes to the Electro ones, a good ol’ Cryo or Pyro will do the trick. Just gotta watch out, don’t let ‘em get the jump on ya.
What do they drop?
Now after ya beat ‘em, them Abyss Mages drop some useful stuff, real handy for upgrading your talents and weapons. You get things like Divining Scrolls, Sealed Scrolls, and even Forbidden Curse Scrolls if you’re lucky. These things, they might not seem much at first, but if you collect enough, you’ll be able to level up your characters and weapons like nobody’s business.
