Okay, let’s talk about my little adventure with Mega Pinsir in Pokémon Go. I’ve been playing this game for quite a while, and I’m always excited about new challenges, especially when it comes to Mega Raids. So, when I heard about Mega Pinsir, I was like, “Alright, let’s do this!”
First things first, you can’t just catch a Mega Pinsir. You gotta earn it. The only way to get this beast is through Mega Raids. I remember the first time I saw Mega Pinsir in the raid, I was kinda intimidated. It’s a Bug type from the Kanto region and looks pretty tough.

So, I started joining these Mega Raids. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. You need to defeat Mega Pinsir in the raids to collect its Mega Energy. I teamed up with some friends, and we battled it out. Each time we won, I got some Mega Energy. It felt like a real grind, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
- Join Mega Raids: This is where you battle Mega Pinsir.
- Collect Mega Energy: You get this by winning the raids.
- Evolve Pinsir: Once you have enough Mega Energy, you can temporarily evolve your Pinsir into Mega Pinsir.
I also found out that you can solo defeat Pinsir in 3-star raids, which is pretty cool. It’s not super tough in these raids, but it’s still a good challenge. Plus, there’s a chance to get a Shiny Pinsir, which is awesome! I haven’t got one yet, but I’m still hoping.
Grinding for That Mega Energy
Now, about the Mega Energy. You need a good amount to evolve Pinsir. I kept joining raids, battling, and slowly but surely, I collected enough energy. It took a while, but it was worth it. I also learned that the Pokémon in these Mega Raids change over time, so it’s good to keep an eye on who’s available.
After all that work, I finally had enough Mega Energy. I evolved my Pinsir, and there it was, my very own Mega Pinsir! It was a great feeling, seeing all that effort pay off. The max Combat Power of Mega Pinsir is pretty high, so it’s definitely a strong Pokémon to have in your team.
So, that’s my story of getting Mega Pinsir in Pokémon Go. It was a journey of raiding, grinding, and finally achieving that Mega Evolution. If you’re playing Pokémon Go and looking for a new challenge, I definitely recommend going for Mega Pinsir. It’s tough, but totally worth it!
