Hey everyone, today I want to talk about my recent adventure with Akali in set 10. You know, I’ve been messing around with different builds and strategies, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code on how to make her really shine.
So, I started by experimenting with different team compositions. I tried putting her in with a bunch of K/DA units, thinking the synergy would be killer. And it was, don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t quite hitting the mark I was aiming for. Then I switched things up and threw her into a team with more True Damage units. I noticed that depending on the number of other units, Akali could be K/DA or True Damage.

My Early Game Approach
- Focus on Early Dominance: I realized Akali is a beast early on. Instead of waiting for her to scale, I started pushing hard in the early game.
- Aggressive Playstyle: I went all in, trying to dominate my lane opponent from the get-go. Harassing, trading, and just being a general nuisance.
This aggressive approach paid off big time. I was getting ahead in levels and gold, making it easier to snowball later on.
Mid to Late Game Strategy
- Itemization is Key: I found that AP items are her bread and butter. I was stacking items that gave her a ton of ability power.
- Assassin’s Instinct: I played her like a true assassin. I used to flank the enemy backline, and delete those squishy damage dealers.
I also tried different rune setups. At first, I thought Resolve secondary would be good for a tankier Akali, and there are some guides suggesting Precision primary with Resolve secondary. But honestly, I found that going all-in on damage runes was the way to go. It just amplified her burst potential even more.
There are some guides recommending a tanky Akali build, but I was focusing on an AP build. And there are others who suggest builds depending on the situation, whether you’re in top, jungle, mid, bot or support.
The Results
After all this tinkering, I finally started seeing some serious results. I was consistently winning games, and Akali was often the top damage dealer on my team. I even had a game where I went 4/0, just like that pro player Febiven from Misfits Gaming I read about! It felt amazing to see all the pieces come together.
So, if you’re looking to try out Akali in set 10, my advice is this: go aggressive early, build AP, and play her like the deadly assassin she is. Trust me, it’s a blast!
That’s all for now, folks. Let me know in the comments if you’ve had any luck with Akali, and what builds you’ve been using. I’m always up for trying new things!
