Okay, so I’ve been trying to do this Giratina raid in Pokemon GO, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a journey. I started out all excited, thinking, “Yeah, I got this!” I’ve done raids before, so how hard could it be, right?
First, I tried to find other trainers. I heard that you need at least two trainers, but it’s better to have four or more. I mean, you want to have a good chance, and Giratina is a tough one, especially the Origin Forme. So, I went on some forums and groups, trying to find people to raid with. I sent out a bunch of messages like, “Hey, anyone up for a Giratina raid? I’m ready when you are!”

- Finding a Team: This was the first hurdle. It took some time, but eventually, I found a group. It was a relief because going solo wasn’t really an option.
Getting the Right Pokemon
Next, I had to make sure I had the right Pokemon. I read somewhere that Mega Rayquaza is the best if you have it, especially at level 50. Sadly, I didn’t have one of those. But I did some digging and found out that Giratina is weak against Dragon, Dark, Ghost, Ice, and Fairy types. So, I started gathering my strongest Pokemon of those types. I powered them up as much as I could, maxing out their CP and making sure they had the best moves.
- Powering Up: Spent a ton of Stardust and Candy, but it felt worth it. I mean, you gotta be prepared, right?
The Raid Battle
When the day came, we all joined the raid remotely. I was a bit nervous, to be honest. The battle started, and wow, Giratina was no joke. We were throwing everything we had at it. My Pokemon were taking hits, and I was using potions and revives like crazy.
- Intense Battle: It was a real nail-biter. I was on the edge of my seat, watching my Pokemon’s health bars go up and down.
Victory!
After what felt like forever, we finally did it! We defeated Giratina. It was such a rush! I managed to catch it too, which was awesome. It wasn’t easy, but we did it. Teamwork really does make the dream work, you know?
- Catching Giratina: I used a Golden Razz Berry and made a Great Throw. I was so relieved when it stayed in the Poke Ball.
So yeah, that’s my Giratina raid story. It was tough, but totally worth it. If you’re planning to do a Giratina raid, make sure you have a good team and strong Pokemon. Good luck, and happy raiding!
