Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this idea for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge and create a “Jeopardy Fortnite” game. I’m a big fan of both “Jeopardy” and “Fortnite,” so I thought, why not combine the two?
First off, I started brainstorming some categories. I wanted to cover a good range of “Fortnite” topics, so I created various categories. Then I began to collect questions and answers. This was a bit tricky, I wanted to make sure they weren’t too easy, but also not impossible. I spent a good chunk of time browsing “Fortnite” forums, watching gameplay videos, and even digging through old patch notes to find some good trivia.

I also had to figure out the formatting. I wanted it to feel like a real “Jeopardy” game, so I used a classic “Jeopardy” template I found online to input all the questions and answers. This template was super helpful because it already had the scoring system built-in, which saved me a ton of time.
After getting all the questions and answers into the template, I started testing it out. I played a few rounds myself to make sure everything was working correctly and that the difficulty level was appropriate. I even roped in a few of my friends to play, too. They gave me some great feedback, pointing out a couple of questions that were either too vague or just plain wrong. I made some adjustments based on their feedback.
- Brainstorm categories
- Gather questions and answers
- Format using a template
- Test and refine
One thing I added was a “Daily Double” question. I thought it would be fun to have a high-stakes question that could really shake up the game. I ended up choosing a question about the first console I played Fortnite on. It was a bit of a personal touch, but I liked it. So I added one Daily Double into each round.
Double Jeopardy Round
Once I was happy with the first round, I moved on to “Double Jeopardy.” I doubled the point values and came up with some even tougher questions. This part took a bit longer, but it was worth it. I wanted the “Double Jeopardy” round to be a real challenge, even for hardcore “Fortnite” fans.
Finally, I created the “Final Jeopardy” question. This one was the hardest to come up with. I wanted it to be something that would make players really think, but also something that was still within the realm of possibility. I’m not going to spoil it here, but let’s just say it involves some pretty obscure “Fortnite” lore.
I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out. It’s not perfect, of course, but it’s a fun little project that I think other “Fortnite” and “Jeopardy” fans will enjoy. I might even try to organize a little tournament with my friends sometime soon. Who knows, maybe it’ll become a regular thing! It is a fun way to test our “Fortnite” knowledge and have a good laugh at the same time.
One last thing I did was create five questions about Fortnite. I know I’ve never played this before. I think I can use these questions to play with my students.
Anyway, that’s the story of my “Jeopardy Fortnite” game. Hope you guys get a kick out of it!
