Alright, so I’ve been messing around in League of Legends again, as one does, and I’ve been getting absolutely wrecked by this champion, Lillia. She’s just so darn fast! I’m cruising around the jungle, minding my own business, and then BAM! This little deer thing comes out of nowhere, starts bouncing around like she’s on a sugar rush, and next thing I know, I’m back at the fountain with a gray screen. It’s been rough, guys, really rough.
So, I decided I had to do something about it. No way was I going to let this prancing menace keep ruining my games. I started digging around, looking for ways to deal with her. First, I just watched some of my own replays. Painful, I know, but necessary. And what I noticed was pretty obvious: I was playing way too passive in the early game. See, Lillia is actually pretty weak when the game starts. She needs time to farm up and get her items.

Armed with this groundbreaking insight, I started playing more aggressively. I picked champions that are strong early, like Xin Zhao and Lee Sin – you know, the guys who love to get in your face and start scrapping from level one. I’d invade her jungle, steal her camps, and generally make her life miserable. And guess what? It worked! Suddenly, I wasn’t getting stomped anymore. In fact, I was the one doing the stomping.
But I didn’t stop there. I also did some research. I looked up win rates, checked out what the pros were doing, all that good stuff. Here’s the thing I found out about Lillia: she really struggles against champions who can lock her down or burst her before she can start running circles around them. Think of champions like Talon, Kindred, or Diana – those guys can jump on her and delete her before she can even react. But, if you pick someone like Rammus or Skarner, you’re gonna have a bad time, ’cause Lillia just dances around them.
- Early Aggression: I started picking early game junglers and invading Lillia’s jungle to disrupt her farm.
- Champion Selection: I focused on champions that could either lock her down or burst her quickly.
- Win Rate Research: I looked up win rates and pro play data to see which champions statistically do well against her.
- Itemization: Even though I main jungle, I started looking at items that could help, like those that reduce magic damage or have some form of slow.
I even started paying attention to items. I know, I know, a jungler thinking about items? Crazy, right? But seriously, things like Spirit Visage or Mercury’s Treads can actually make a difference. And if you’re really struggling, that Quicksilver Enchant can be a lifesaver to get out of her crowd control.
It wasn’t easy, and I definitely had some setbacks, but I can finally say that I’m not scared of Lillia anymore. I’ve even started winning games against her consistently. So, if you’re out there struggling against the deer, take it from me: you can beat her. Just remember to be aggressive early, pick the right champions, and don’t be afraid to adjust your item build. And most importantly don’t chase her if she is already moving fast!
What I Did
- Started playing more aggressively in the early game.
- Focused on champions with strong early game presence and invasion potential.
- Researched win rates and pro play data to identify strong counter-picks.
- Considered itemization options to mitigate Lillia’s damage and crowd control.
It took some effort, but hey, now I can sleep soundly at night, no more nightmares about that speedy deer. You got this, summoners!
