Man, so I finally got around to playing Halo Infinite, specifically the ‘Scarlet Wake’ part. I gotta say, it was a wild ride! I started off just cruising through the campaign, you know, the usual blasting Grunts and outsmarting Elites. I was feeling pretty good, getting into the groove of the game.
Then I hit this “Scarlet Wake” mission. I didn’t really know what to expect, I just went in guns blazing, like always. Boy, was I in for a surprise! The difficulty really ramped up. Suddenly, I was facing tougher enemies, and a lot more of them. I had to switch up my tactics, no more running in like a crazy man. I started using cover more, picking my shots carefully, and actually using those grenades I’d been hoarding.

- First thing I did was explore the area to find some better weapons. The starting gear just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I found a sweet sniper rifle and a rocket launcher, which definitely helped even the odds.
- Next, I figured out the enemy patterns. I noticed they always came in waves, so I used that to my advantage. I’d take out a few, then fall back and let my shields recharge before the next wave hit.
- There were a couple of really tough boss fights that had me sweating. I had to use every trick in the book to beat them. I’m talking dodging, weaving, using the environment, everything! It took a few tries, but I finally managed to take them down.
The Ending
And the ending, oh man, the ending! I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t played it yet, but let’s just say it was epic. It made all the struggles worth it. I was so pumped when I finally finished the mission. It felt like a real accomplishment. I even went back and replayed it a couple of times, just to experience it all over again. This “Scarlet Wake” really got me hooked on Halo Infinite, I gotta admit. It’s tough, but it’s so satisfying when you finally conquer it. I’m definitely gonna keep playing and see what other challenges the game throws my way.
