Okay, so, the other day I decided to tackle this thing called “Faraway Frequencies” in the game “It Takes Two.” Man, what a ride that was! I had read a few things online about it being in Rose’s Room, specifically in the “Spaced Out” level. That’s the third chapter, by the way.
I jumped into the game and started exploring. The whole space theme in Rose’s Room is pretty cool, with all the floating platforms and funky gravity stuff. Anyway, I progressed through the level, bashing those annoying security cameras whenever I could – gotta love Cody’s shrinking and growing abilities for that.

I finally got to this part with a second set of three portals. I remembered reading something about a golden portal with pillows outside it. Found it! So, I had Cody go big and used that yellow portal, the one that was kind of next to a camera I could smash. It’s apparently the golden portal to get “Faraway Frequencies.”
- Made my way through the Spaced Out level.
- Reached the second platform with three portals.
- Used Cody’s large form to enter the yellow portal.
- Found the radar/communications device.
Once inside, the place looked totally different. I messed around a bit, exploring the area, and eventually found this radar or communications thingy. It was on the right side, and you had to climb up to reach it.
I started playing with the radar, rotating the satellite dish. I did notice that I could tune into different frequencies. I fiddled with it some more and boom! There were like four different frequencies I could listen to. I even heard Dr. Hakim’s voice on one of them! It was a little bit creepy, but also kind of awesome.
After messing around with the satellite for a while, I got the trophy! It popped up on the screen, and I felt pretty darn accomplished, not gonna lie. It’s one of those secret achievements, so it felt extra good to unlock it.
All in all, it was a fun little side quest. “It Takes Two” is full of these little hidden gems, and “Faraway Frequencies” is definitely one of them. If you’re playing the game, make sure you don’t miss this one! It’s a pretty neat little secret to uncover.
