Okay, so, I’ve been really digging into Far Cry 6 lately, and let me tell you, those FND bases? They’re everywhere! I mean, there are 21 of these things scattered all over the map. I started off thinking, “No problem, I’ll just stumble upon them.” Boy, was I wrong. I managed to find a few early on, just exploring, you know? But then the story kinda took over, and I forgot all about them.
After I wrapped up the main storyline, I realized I still had a ton of these bases left to capture. So, I thought, “Time to get organized!” I went online, found a map, and it had them all numbered. I started with the first one and it is the “Cabeza Fuel Depot”. I had to go through it a few times to actually figure out the best way in.
Then I moved on to the second one which is the “Cabeza Power Station” and the third one which is “Sureno Shipyards”. Each one had its own little quirks, you know? Some were easier than others, that’s for sure.
- First few bases: These were okay, mostly figuring out the lay of the land, where the alarms were, that kind of stuff.
- Middle bases: Got a bit trickier. More enemies, better layouts. Had to really start using stealth here.
- Last few bases: Man, these were tough! I had to retry some of them several times. But I finally got them all!
I kept track of everything I did, like which weapons worked best in each base. For example, I realized that the “Resolver” weapons were not that good.
The key was to take it slow, scout the area, and disable the alarms. Once I did that, it was much easier to pick off the enemies one by one. I also found that using the environment to my advantage was huge. Like, using distractions, setting traps, that kind of thing.
It took a while, but I eventually cleared all 21 FND bases. It felt good to finally have them all under my belt. Plus, capturing these bases gives you some pretty sweet rewards, and it’s a good way to level up your gear. If you’re playing Far Cry 6, I definitely recommend taking the time to find and clear all these bases. It’s a challenge, but it’s worth it!
What I learned:
- Patience is key: Rushing in gets you killed. Take your time, plan your approach.
- Alarms are a pain: Always disable them first.
- Stealth is your friend: Use it to your advantage.
- Experiment with weapons: Find what works best for you.
