Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another post. Today, I wanna talk about something I’ve been messing around with in League of Legends – those cool borders you see around people’s profile pictures. Yeah, those are called level borders, and they change as you level up your account. I got curious about how many there were and what they looked like, so I did some digging and played a ton to see for myself.
First off, I found out that these borders are basically bragging rights for how much you play. The more you level up, the fancier your border gets. I started noticing them when I was just a newbie, and I gotta say, some of the higher-level ones look pretty sick. It’s like a little badge of honor that shows how dedicated you are to the game.

My Grind to See Them All
So, I learned that there are a whopping 21 different border designs, and you need to hit level 500 to see them all. Each one has a theme based on the different regions in the League of Legends world. I started at level 1 with a Piltover-themed border, which was neat and all, but I wanted to see what else was out there. I played a bunch of games, experimented with new strategies, and slowly started climbing up the levels.
- Level 1: Piltover – This was my starting point. It’s got that techy, blue-ish look.
- Level 30: Hextech – Once I hit 30, things started getting a bit more intricate.
- Level 75: Shadow Isles – I played like crazy. I tried out different champions, watched some pro games to learn new tricks, and finally reached 75. The Shadow Isles theme is all spooky and dark.
- Level 125: Ionia – As I kept playing and leveling, I noticed the borders were getting way cooler. The Ionia design at level 125 is super elegant.
And this went on and on and on. Each time I reached a new border milestone, I took a screenshot and kept a little journal of what I did to get there. I’ve played with friends, tried solo queue, and even messed around in ARAM to mix things up. It was a serious grind, but also a ton of fun seeing my profile border evolve.
Reaching the Top
After what felt like forever, I finally hit level 500. And let me tell you, the final border is awesome. It’s like the ultimate reward for all those hours spent playing. I’ve seen a lot of cool stuff in the game, but these borders are something special. They really make you feel like you’ve accomplished something.
So yeah, that’s my journey with League of Legends level borders. It was a long ride, but totally worth it. If you’re a League player, I hope this inspires you to grind for those borders. They’re a fun little goal to have while you’re playing, and it’s cool to show off your progress. Keep playing, keep leveling, and you’ll see those borders change in no time! Catch you all in the next post!
