Okay, guys, so I’ve been hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 for, like, forever. Finally, I decided to bite the bullet and pre-order it. It was a bit of a journey, so I thought I’d share my experience.
First off, I started to look around to see where I could even pre-order the game. It turns out it’s available on a bunch of platforms. I had to check out some big names like Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG for PC. Also, there was the option to order it for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Then I stumbled upon some info that mentioned pre-ordering it on Stadia. Honestly, I didn’t even know what stadia was! Turns out it was some google cloud gaming platform and it has already shut down. Anyway, I decided not to pre-order on stadia.
The Different Editions
Next, I started to dig into the different editions available. I found a guide that detailed all the versions and the bonuses each one offered. It was a bit overwhelming, but I wanted to make sure I got the best deal and all the cool extra stuff. I saw some special editions like the “Ultimate Edition” or something. So I kept those in mind and kept looking.
Hunting for Bonuses
This is where it got interesting. I learned that different stores offer unique pre-order bonuses. Like, GameStop had this exclusive Samurai Medallion, which sounded pretty badass. And Best Buy was offering something else, I think it was some in-game items. This made my decision even harder!
The Ultimate Edition
Then I saw the news about the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. It was going to launch on December 5th, 2023, and it was available for pre-order. This edition had the base game, the 2.0 update, and probably some other goodies. It was priced at $59.99. This seemed like a solid deal, considering everything it included.
The Final Decision
After weighing all the options, I decided to go for the Ultimate Edition. I felt like it offered the most complete experience. I pre-ordered it, and now the wait begins! I can’t wait to finally dive into Night City and experience all the cyberpunk goodness.
