First things first, I started where any self-respecting internet sleuth would: good ol’ Google. I just typed in “popular Fortnite streamers” and started digging through the results. The first thing I learned is that Fortnite is still a massive deal. I mean, it came out back in 2017, and people are still crazy about it. It’s a free-to-play battle royale, whatever that means.
The Big Names
So, who are these Fortnite gods, you ask? Well, let me tell you. The name that popped up everywhere was Ninja. Apparently, this dude is like the king of Twitch, with over 19 million followers! Can you believe that? 19 million people tuning in to watch a guy play video games. What a world we live in. I found out he used to compete in tournaments and stuff, which makes sense, I guess.
Then there’s this Clix guy. As of December 2024, he’s the top-ranked Fortnite streamer on Twitch, with something like 1.5 million viewer hours in just a month. I don’t even know how that’s possible. I also stumbled upon Pokimane, who’s apparently the queen of Twitch, with 9.3 million followers. Girl power, am I right?
Other Notable Players
Of course, it’s not just Ninja and Clix. I saw a bunch of other names too:
- MrSavage: This guy was live when I checked, and there were like 21 people watching. Still pretty impressive, I guess.
- Typical Gamer: Apparently, no list is complete without this dude, so he must be a big deal.
Digging Deeper
I also learned that there are global leaderboards, and some other names that came up were Ship on YouTube, TTV R1xbox, and efgXBL. I didn’t dive too deep into these guys, but it’s clear that the Fortnite streaming world is huge and full of all kinds of characters.
