Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole Pokemon GO thing, and let me tell you, Mewtwo is a beast! Today, I wanted to really nail down what Mewtwo’s max CP is and how to get there. It’s a bit of a journey, so buckle up!
First off, I started by catching a bunch of Mewtwos. Not easy, let me tell you. You need to be on your A-game in raids. I joined a few groups and we hit up as many as possible. Then, I figured out that there’s this thing called “Shadow Mewtwo”, which, guess what? It can have an even higher CP.

I caught a Shadow Mewtwo. It’s pretty cool looking, all dark and mysterious. I noticed the CP on these guys can vary quite a bit. When the weather was normal it has a lower CP, but when the weather was windy it’s CP was a little bit higher.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. I learned that Mewtwo’s max CP is 4178! But from what I gather, there’s also something called “Mega Evolution,” which is apparently not available yet in Pokemon GO. But if it were, Mewtwo could potentially go even higher. Crazy, right?
I also noticed some folks talking about “Primal Kyogre” and “Primal Groudon” having even higher CP than Mega Mewtwo. I haven’t even seen those yet, so that’s something to look forward to.
- Catch a bunch of Mewtwo in raids.
- Try to snag a Shadow Mewtwo. It’s tougher but worth it.
- Pay attention to the weather. Windy weather seems to boost the CP a bit.
- Keep an eye out for Mega Evolution. That’s gonna be a game-changer.
So, that’s where I’m at with my Mewtwo adventure. It’s been a grind, but I’m getting closer to that max CP. It’s all about being patient, hitting those raids, and maybe getting a little lucky with the weather. I’ll keep you all posted on my progress!
