Alright, let’s talk about my recent adventure with Giratina in Pokémon GO. I’ve been messing around with different movesets, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code for this beast.
So, first things first, I started experimenting with different Fast Moves. I’ve heard good things about both Shadow Claw and Dragon Breath. I gave Dragon Breath a shot first because, you know, dragons are cool. It hit pretty hard, but I felt like I wasn’t charging up my Charged Moves fast enough.

- Tried Dragon Breath, felt it was a bit slow on energy gain.
Then I switched over to Shadow Claw. Man, what a difference! It felt way snappier, and I was launching those Charged Moves like nobody’s business.
- Switched to Shadow Claw, loved the faster energy gain.
Speaking of Charged Moves, I played around with a few combinations. But let me tell you, Shadow Force is where it’s at. I tried some other options, just to see if any could compete, but nope, Shadow Force just obliterated everything in its path.
- Tested other charged moves, but Shadow Force is supreme.
My Go-to Moveset
After all that experimenting, I’ve settled on Shadow Claw and Shadow Force as my go-to moveset for Giratina. It just wrecks in both Gym battles and PvP. I mean, I’m taking down those smug Blisseys in Gyms without breaking a sweat. And in Master League? Forget about it. Giratina’s a monster!
- Shadow Claw and Shadow Force is the best.
- Dominate in Gyms and PvP.
Raid Squad
Now, I also wanted to see how Giratina stacked up in raids. I joined a few raid groups, and let me just say, it’s a beast there too. I heard that two trainers could take down Giratina, but honestly, unless you’ve got a whole squad of maxed-out Pokémon with the perfect counters, it’s a tough fight. I usually roll with at least four trainers, just to be safe. We crush those raids, and Giratina’s right there in the thick of it, dishing out tons of damage. Even though I don’t have mega energy, this moveset performs well.
- Raids are tough, need at least 4 trainers.
- My Giratina performs great with Shadow Claw and Shadow Force.
So, yeah, that’s my Giratina story. I’m sticking with Shadow Claw and Shadow Force. It’s a killer combo, and it’s made Giratina one of my favorite Pokémon to use in GO. If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed!
