Today I wanna talk about my girl Samira, and who’s been helping me climb the ladder with her. You know, sometimes it feels like you’re doing all the work in the bot lane, right? But finding a good support can really make or break those early game fights, and Samira definitely needs a buddy who can keep up with her all-in style.
So, first off, I tried a bunch of different supports with her. Some folks online were like, “Oh, just look at the win rates, bro.” And sure, I checked out some stats. Saw that Zac, Rell, Taric, Renata Glasc, and Maokai were supposedly the top picks. But honestly, numbers don’t tell the whole story. It’s about how they actually feel in the game, you know?

- Nautilus: This guy, man, he’s a beast. His hook is insane for setting up kills, and he’s tanky as hell. We wrecked so many lanes with him, it wasn’t even funny. I mean, once he lands that anchor, it’s basically a free kill for Samira.
- Rell: Okay, Rell is another solid choice. She’s got that engage, she can peel, and her ultimate is just bonkers in teamfights. When she jumps in, I can follow up and just shred through their team. We had some epic comebacks with her, no joke.
- Thresh: Now, Thresh is a classic for a reason. His lantern is a lifesaver, literally. And his flay? Forget about it. He can interrupt so many enemy dives, it’s crazy. Plus, his box is great for zoning people out. He’s not as tanky as Naut or Rell, but he makes up for it with his utility.
- Alistar: This big guy is also amazing. Once Alistar headbutts and pulverizes the enemies, it’s so easy to stack my passive and delete them.
- Maokai: The tree guy is actually pretty good! His saplings are annoying, and he can lock people down for a good chunk of time. We had some decent games with him, but he just didn’t feel as impactful as the others, at least for me.
- Leona: Last but not least, Leona. She’s like the queen of engage. Her Zenith Blade into Shield of Daybreak combo is just brutal. If she lands it, Samira can just go ham and there is a big chance we can get a double kill. We had a blast playing together.
I did mess around with some enchanters too, ’cause some people swear by them with Samira. But honestly, it just didn’t click for me. Maybe I’m just too aggressive, but I felt like I needed someone who could really get in there and brawl with me. I tried out some different combinations, but it just didn’t feel right.
So yeah, after a ton of games, those are my go-to supports for Samira. It’s all about that aggressive playstyle, finding someone who can lock ’em down so you can unleash the beast. If you’re a Samira main, give these pairings a shot. Trust me, you won’t regret it. And if you’ve got other support suggestions, hit me up in the comments. I’m always down to try new things and see what works best. It was a grind, but it was totally worth it to figure out these killer combos. Keep playing and find out what works for you!
