Alright, guys, gather around! Today I’m gonna talk about my grind in League of Legends, specifically about “LOL Split 2”. It’s been a wild ride, and I’ve got some stories to tell. Let me tell you, this split has been a rollercoaster of emotions, from triumphant wins to soul-crushing defeats.
So, I started this split like I always do: with a ton of hope and a fresh mindset. I even set some goals like reaching a new rank and getting that sweet Victorious skin. I dived headfirst into the ranked queue, ready to climb my way up. At first, things were going pretty smoothly. I was winning more than I was losing, and I was feeling good about my gameplay. I saw some posts online saying that you could earn the Victorious Kog’Maw skin in Split 1 and the Victorious Sona skin in Split 2. That was a great motivation for me.

I started grinding hard, playing game after game. Some days were great. I’d go on these crazy win streaks where everything just clicked. I remember one day I played like 10 games in a row and won 8 of them. It was awesome! I was carrying teams, making plays, and feeling like a total boss. But then, there were the dark days. You know, the ones where you can’t seem to buy a win? Yeah, those days sucked. I’d lose game after game, and my rank would start to plummet. It was frustrating as hell, but I kept pushing.
I also started to notice the patterns in my gameplay. When I was focused and playing smart, I would do well. But when I tilted or got distracted, it was all downhill from there. I realized that mindset is everything in this game. Keeping a cool head, even when things are going south, is crucial.
So here are some of the things I did that really helped me out during this split:
- Focusing on a few champions: Instead of trying to play every champion, I picked a few that I was good at and stuck with them. This helped me master their mechanics and really understand how to play them in different situations.
- Taking breaks: When I started to feel tilted or frustrated, I would take a break. Go for a walk, watch a show, anything to get my mind off the game. Coming back with a fresh perspective always helped.
- Watching replays: I started watching replays of my games, especially the ones I lost. This helped me identify my mistakes and figure out what I could have done better.
As for the rewards, I was stoked to find out that we could get the Victorious Sona skin this split. I’ve always been a fan of Sona, and having a special skin to show off my hard work is pretty cool. I pushed hard, and I’m happy to say that I managed to snag that skin! It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it. And some Crests and loading screen borders that can display your current rank. This feels great! I can’t wait to show it off on my profile!
In the end, I didn’t quite reach the rank I was aiming for, but I still made some decent progress. I learned a lot about myself as a player and as a person. League of Legends is more than just a game; it’s a test of mental fortitude and resilience. And I’m proud of how I handled the challenges this split threw my way. This Split 2 was a real test, but I’m already looking forward to the next one. Bring it on!
