Okay, so today I messed around with this thing called the “Ice Furnace” set in ESO. It’s been on my radar for a while, you know, hearing whispers about it in the gaming community and all. I finally got around to diving in and getting my hands dirty.
First off, I had to figure out where this “Ice Furnace” even drops. Turns out, it’s hiding in this dungeon called Direfrost Keep. So, I geared up my character, a hefty Nord, because apparently, this set is heavy armor, and heavy armor means a Nord, right? Anyway, I rallied a few guildmates because tackling a dungeon solo is just asking for a headache.
We stormed into Direfrost Keep, and let me tell you, it was a mess. Mobs everywhere, traps, the whole nine yards. We bashed our way through, taking down everything that moved. I was particularly on the lookout for those treasure chests, because I heard they have a chance to drop pieces of the set.
Boss fights were rough. I mean, they always are, but these guys were hitting like trucks. We wiped a couple of times, not gonna lie. It’s all part of the process, right? Gotta learn their patterns, figure out the best strategy.
After a few runs, I started seeing some results. Got a couple of Ice Furnace pieces, including some jewelry, which was cool. From what I gathered, this set is all about that Frost Damage, and if you get five pieces, you unlock some serious perks. I’m not there yet, but I can see the potential. My frost attacks were definitely packing a bit more punch, which is nice.

- Fought through waves of enemies and challenging bosses.
- Looted treasure chests and defeated bosses for set pieces.
- Obtained a few Ice Furnace items, including jewelry.
- Noticed an increase in Frost Damage output.
I’m still piecing together the full set. It’s a grind, no doubt about it, but it feels rewarding. Like, you’re really earning it. Plus, playing with friends always makes these things more fun.
Still Getting There
So, yeah, that’s my Ice Furnace adventure so far. Still a work in progress, but I’m determined to get that five-piece bonus. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Maybe I’ll even share some gameplay once I have the full set and can really put it to the test.
