Well, today I wanted to play a game, but it’s not on Steam or anything like that. I had to get this thing called the Blacksmith Launcher. So, I’m gonna walk you through what I did, just in case you’re in the same boat.
First off, I headed over to the official website where they had this “download” button. I clicked on that, pretty straightforward. It started downloading a file named “Blacksmith_*”.

Installation Time
Once the download finished, I found the file and double-clicked it. You know, the usual drill. It popped up with some instructions, and I just followed along. Nothing too complicated, just a couple of “next” clicks and agreeing to their terms and conditions. I pretty much accepted all the default settings ’cause I couldn’t be bothered to customize anything.
- I remember it asked me where I wanted to install it.
- I just left it at the default location.
- Then it did its thing, installing all the necessary files.
After a little bit, the installation wrapped up. I checked my desktop, and there it was, the Blacksmith Launcher icon. Seemed like everything went smoothly.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. I now have the Blacksmith Launcher installed and ready to go. Now I just need to figure out how to use it to get the game I want, but that’s a story for another time! It seems like the Blacksmith Launcher has the latest version, like 1.0.0.652 or something, and it’s free, which is always good.
Honestly, I just wanted to share this in case anyone else is scratching their head about getting this launcher. It’s really not that bad, just a few clicks and you’re good to go.
Some people online were talking about using some Cloudflare Warp thing to help with Blacksmith, but I didn’t need to do any of that. Maybe I just got lucky, who knows?
I also heard someone say they had trouble getting the game to launch after they hit “Play.” I haven’t gotten that far yet, so I can’t really comment on that. Hopefully, I won’t run into that issue!
