Alright, so the other day, I was scrolling through Steam, as you do, and I stumbled upon this game called “Lethal Company.” Looked kinda cool, you know, the whole spooky, survive-with-your-friends vibe. But then the big question popped into my head: can my PC even run this thing?
So, I did what any normal person would do – I started digging. First stop, the game’s Steam page. They always have those “minimum requirements” listed, right? I checked them, and it said something about needing at least a GeForce GTX 1050. I remembered that I bought my GPU in 2016, but I wasn’t sure.

I opened my PC case and checked my GPU. I found that my GPU was bought in 2016. But I still don’t know if it could run this game or not.
Next, I hit up some forums. Found a bunch of people talking about how “light” the game is. One guy even said his “potato PC” ran it fine. Okay, that’s encouraging, I guess. But still, “potato PC” could mean anything!
Then I found this website, it did a “Lethal Company benchmark test.” Seemed promising! It mentioned the game’s size, too – apparently, it’s only about 1 GB to download. That’s tiny! My hard drive definitely has space for that.
- Checked the official system requirements on Steam.
- Scoured forums for player experiences.
- Stumbled upon a benchmark test website.
- Confirmed the game’s small download size.
I also learned that you need at least 8 GB of RAM. Checked my system, and yep, got that covered. But the graphics card thing was still bugging me. I mean, the GTX 1050 is pretty old, right? But then I remembered some games just list older cards as minimum, even if they can run on even older hardware.
So after all this digging around, I still wasn’t 100% sure. I decided, you know what, I’m just gonna try it. Downloaded the game, held my breath, and launched it. And guess what? It works! It actually runs pretty smoothly, no crazy lag or anything.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure in figuring out if my PC could handle “Lethal Company.” Turns out, it wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. But hey, at least I learned something about my computer, right? And now I can finally enjoy some spooky multiplayer fun. If anyone else is wondering, don’t worry too much about the minimum requirements. Just give it a shot, you might be surprised!
