Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this whole “Hades Dark Foresight” and “Olympian Favor” business. Now, I ain’t no fancy scholar, but from what I reckon, Dark Foresight is one of them choices from the Mirror of Night, and so is Olympian Favor. But the thing is, they do different stuff, ya know?
Now, Dark Foresight, that one gives ya a better chance to find boons, hammers, and well… them Pom of Powers. I tell ya, when you’re down there in the Underworld, it’s real nice to get them boons ’cause they make ya stronger. You see more goodies in them rooms, and that’s a good thing. Some folks say it ain’t that important, but I reckon if you like to gamble a little, Dark Foresight is worth pickin’.

But listen, Olympian Favor is a different beast altogether. That one makes it so you get more Rare or better boons from the gods. Now, we all know how them gods like to throw some powerful boons your way if you’re lucky, so havin’ more Rare, Epic, or even Legendary boons is like strikin’ gold. But ya know what? You ain’t always gonna get what you want, and that’s the tricky part. Olympian Favor is like hopin’ for the best, while Dark Foresight is like makin’ sure ya get a little extra, even if it ain’t the best thing ever.
Some folks swear by Olympian Favor, sayin’ it’s the best way to get strong quick. They’re the type who like to take their chances with them gods, hopin’ for Rare boons every time. They say, “Well, if ya get a Rare boon, it’s better than somethin’ weak!” And, well, I suppose they ain’t wrong. I’ve seen folks use Olympian Favor and turn out real strong after just a few rooms.
- Dark Foresight: Gives ya more stuff in rooms. Hammers, boons, and Poms, more chances for ’em.
- Olympian Favor: Gives ya a better shot at Rare boons from the gods. More power, if you’re lucky!
Now, I’ve tried both, and I gotta tell ya, Dark Foresight is more of a safe bet. When I’m runnin’ through them chambers, I like seein’ more stuff, even if it ain’t all Rare. You gettin’ more boons and Poms, well, that means you’re gettin’ stronger every step of the way. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. Plus, more Poms means ya can upgrade what ya already got, and them upgrades stack up real nice.
Some folks like to say, “Why settle for more stuff when ya can get Rare boons and win fast?” And well, I see what they’re sayin’. Olympian Favor can make ya feel like a god yourself if ya hit the right boons early. But the gods are fickle, ya know? Sometimes they give ya the good stuff, but sometimes they leave ya hangin’. And ain’t nobody got time to be left hangin’ when you’re tryin’ to fight yer way outta Hades!
Now, don’t get me wrong. Olympian Favor can be mighty useful. If you’re feelin’ lucky or if you’re someone who just likes to rely on them gods for big power boosts, then maybe that’s the one for ya. But for folks like me, who like a little more control over what we get, Dark Foresight just feels better. You know you’re gettin’ more chances for goodies, and sometimes them extra goodies are just what you need to make it through a tough fight.
In the end, it’s all about how you like to play. If you like takin’ risks, Olympian Favor is the way to go. If you like playin’ it safe and want more chances at stuff, Dark Foresight’s your friend. And well, I gotta tell ya, I’ve had more success with Dark Foresight, but maybe that’s just ‘cause I like seein’ more stuff in them chambers.
So, next time you’re standin’ in front of that Mirror of Night, think about what kind of run you wanna have. Wanna take your chances and hope for them Rare boons? Go on and pick Olympian Favor. But if you wanna play it smart and get more of what you need, Dark Foresight’s waitin’ for ya.
Just remember, the gods ain’t always on your side, but at least with Dark Foresight, you’ll get somethin’ every time.
